With the spread of the coronavirus or “COVID-19,” a respiratory disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus, we all must remain vigilant in mitigating the outbreak. This is particularly true for the construction industry, which has been deemed “essential” during this Declared National Emergency.
HOW DO WE CLEAN CORONAVIRUS?
We will clean and disinfect all frequently touched surfaces in common areas, e.g., cabinets, chairs, copiers, countertops, doors, doorknobs, handrails, ice machines, keyboards, light switches, microwave ovens, monitors, phones, printers, refrigerators, shelving, shredders, tabletops, floors, walls, barracks rooms, mess halls (complete facility), and vending machines as required. Any designated area as directed by the contracting officer. A task order from the awarded contract will be issued upon request stating the area as the need occurs.
Surfaces shall be cleaned prior to disinfection, as instructed on the disinfectant manufacturer's label. Our company will ensure adequate contact time for effective disinfection. We will utilize Burgess brand Electric Professional Foggers filled with Shockwave solution to fog all surfaces, being careful to lightly mist around electronic items. We will utilize Kleenjet Pro Plus 300CS steamers filled with water/Shockwave solution. We will utilize the steamers to disinfected metal, concrete, and masonry surfaces. We will clean and disinfect areas within facilities that person(s) suspected of or with confirmed COVID-19 have visited.
